Taj Mahal, one of the 7 Wonders of the World

The Taj Mahal is considered the most beautiful example of Mongol architecture, for that reason is part of the new seven wonders of the modern world and was recognized by UNESCO in 1983 as World Heritage. The Taj Mahal is a complex of buildings built between 1631 and 1654 located in the city of Agra in Uttar Pradesh state in India.

For what motivated its construction, this place is considered a monument to romance and love. The Muslim emperor Shah Jahan sent to build it in honor of his favorite wife, who died giving birth to her son number 14. Although they are different buildings in this place, the best known is the huge white marble dome which it is mausoleum of Mumtaz Mahal and her husband Emperor Shah Jahan who built this place.

It is a place that inspires with its beauty and that can arouse in you many feelings, and if you are traveling alone, as was my case, maybe will wish to be in the company of someone important to you, so you can share the much perfection of this place “happiness is complete when you have someone to share”.
